How we help our Construction customersThe Vacform Group leads the way in advancing healthcare through our medical components. We are a top manufacturer specializing in high-quality plastic parts crucial for medical applications.
Lightweight but also sturdy and depending on the raw material used, scratch-resistant; vacuum-formed plastic is ideal for medical devices that see heavy usage such as seating, product casings, walking aids and medical handling trays.
How we help our Medical customersPlastic is the core material utilised in the vacuum-forming process.
As such, the Vacform Group must use recycled material wherever possible – ensuring customers are informed of this option when selecting material for respective jobs.
Our commitment to the environment is to send no less than 95% of our factory waste for recycling – with zero going to landfill. This target is of the utmost importance to us as an organisation and will be exceeded whenever possible.
Once each forming is trimmed, we categorise waste by material type and colour, ready for collection from our recycling supplier. At this point, materials are washed in preparation for chipping into granules and blending – the first point of a new material’s supply chain. These granules are then reformed into new plastic sheets, ready for another job and life.
